{"id":712,"date":"2017-09-03T05:36:53","date_gmt":"2017-09-03T05:36:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.runningforrealestate.com\/?p=712"},"modified":"2017-09-24T05:42:05","modified_gmt":"2017-09-24T05:42:05","slug":"sacramento-real-estate-developments-thriving-art-community","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/runningforrealestate.com\/index.php\/2017\/09\/03\/sacramento-real-estate-developments-thriving-art-community\/","title":{"rendered":"Sacramento Real Estate Developments &#038; Our Thriving Art Community &#8211; Art Meets Real Estate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the continued growth of our real estate market and prices climbing, Sacramento is still affordable especially for Bay area buyers who agree that Sacramento is a thriving community with great nightlife, according to some Bay area newspapers, a flourishing art community, and an amazing bike trail system for various recreation purposes.<\/p>\n<p>Staff writer Ben van der Meer of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/sacramento\/news\/\">Sacramento Business Journal <\/a>has recently come to our <a href=\"https:\/\/sacrealtor.org\/\">Sacramento Association of Realtors\u00a0<\/a> and talked about future developments happening in Natomas, Folsom, and, of course, downtown.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_714\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-714\" style=\"width: 225px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-714\" src=\"http:\/\/www.runningforrealestate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Writer_Sept2-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/runningforrealestate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Writer_Sept2-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/runningforrealestate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Writer_Sept2-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/runningforrealestate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Writer_Sept2.jpg 960w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-714\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Grateful to listen to a wonderful presentation at our monthly broker meeting held at Sacramento Association of Realtors.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>Sacramento&#8217;s Real Estate Projects<\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Natomas has 3,000 entitles, but unbuilt homes.<\/li>\n<li>Folsom will have a 6,900 new units being built . The Folsom plan will add about 350 homes a year.<\/li>\n<li>Rancho Cordova will also build 6,700 homes with a master plan being developed that would add about 12,189 new homes. Rancho Cordova has the advantage of being close to the Lightrail.<\/li>\n<li>Downtown has 2,200 entitled or under construction units.<\/li>\n<li>Sacramento has a lot shortage with a supply of about 5,700, which is approximately a year&#8217;s worth.<\/li>\n<li>J St- 11-story project in midtown with 175 units being built, some as small as 440 sq. ft.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_719\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-719\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-719\" src=\"http:\/\/www.runningforrealestate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Projects_Sept2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/runningforrealestate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Projects_Sept2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/runningforrealestate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Projects_Sept2-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-719\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Some of the building projects.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Despite all these great new building projects, staff writer Ben van der Meer pointed out that new housing supply will continue to stay slim, which creates a shortage of new listings and inventory.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Sacramento&#8217;s Wide Open Walls &#8211; Art Meets Real Estate<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Another reason to be excited about our Sacramento real estate market and all the new projects is the Wide Open Walls new murals that adorn Sacramento&#8217;s old and new buildings. With more building and development, the art movement is evident.
